Let’s take a look at the main ingredients:
- Eggs
- Cherry tomatoes
- Sliced mushrooms
- Bacon
- Spinach
- Shredded cheese
- Full-fat milk
Eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, bacon, and spinach are natural, nutritious food sources. Each have their own list of health benefits. Use them to add protein, vitamins, nutrients, and flavor to a variety of recipes.
But what about cheese? What about full-fat milk? Is dairy healthy?
Here’s what we know. Dairy is full of vitamins, minerals, protein, and natural fat energy. But if everyone consumed dairy all of the time, dairy farming would become abusive and unsustainable…
Let’s be mindful of our dairy intake. Buy dairy that comes from pasture raised cows and try to eat less.
Enjoy this air fryer egg frittata knowing it contains protein and nutrients and supports your well-being.
Air Fryer Egg Frittata Tips
1. Swap the veggies
Feel free to mix and match any veggies you like best and have on hand. For example, additional vegtables like zucchini, asparagus, and broccoli all taste great.
2. Add sides
This frittata is incredibly filling on its own. However, if you want to serve it as part of a full brunch spread, try pairing it with sides like fresh fruit, lemon Parmesan salad, chaffles, or even peanut butter overnight “oats”!
3. Got leftover eggs?
Save them for another frittata later, or use them to make Starbucks egg bites, pizza casserole, or 4-ingredient pancakes.
4. Make a double batch
Go ahead and make two rounds of frittatas while you’re in the kitchen, and save the second to enjoy throughout the week! Stored in an airtight container in the fridge, leftovers will stay fresh for up to 3-4 days. Then, all you have to do is warm them in the air fryer or microwave, and they’re ready to eat.
