Chili Garlic Oil Noodles

Chili Garlic Oil Noodles

Cook Time:10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 box edamame noodles
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil
  • 3 tsp (6 cloves) minced garlic
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp chili flakes (one could increase this to 1 tsp if they like things hot - i would suggest starting low and increasing as you taste for preference)
  • 1 tsp Chinese 5 spice
  • 2 tsp soy sauce or aminos
  • 1 tsp white rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp honey

Top with:

  • 1-2 tsp toasted sesame seeds optional
  • 1-2 tsp crushed salted peanuts optional

Instructions

  • Cook and prepare noodles per box.
  • Heat oil on a pan on low heat and add all ingredients minus the toppings above in it. Let heat and simmer very slightly for 5 min.
  • Pour oil mixture over cooked noodles and toss and top with toppings - enjoy!
