While the egg is cooking, cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a small bowl.
Mash the avocado with a fork until smooth (or leave it slightly chunky, as preferred).
Season with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. Add a squeeze of lemon juice for extra flavor and to prevent browning.
Spread the mashed avocado evenly onto the toasted bread slices.
Top each slice with a cooked egg.
Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper or everything bagel seasoning.
