Let’s take a look at the main ingredients:

      • Mozzarella cheese
      • Almond flour
      • Cream cheese
      • Eggs
      • Spinach
      • Artichoke hearts
      • Parmesan cheese

Eggs, spinach, almonds, and artichoke hearts are all natural, nutritious ingredients. Use them to add flavor and nutrients to a variety of recipes.

But what about mozzarella and parmesan? What about cream cheese? Is dairy healthy?

Here’s what we know. Dairy is full of vitamins, minerals, protein, and natural fat energy. But if everyone consumed dairy all of the time, dairy farming would become abusive and unsustainable…

Let’s be mindful of our dairy intake. Buy dairy that comes from pasture-raised cows and try to eat less.

Sugar is what makes food unhealthy.

Most spinach artichoke dip bites are made with a flour-based dough (a starchy carb), which digests very similarly to sugar.

Add 18g of starchy carbs to this recipe, and you’re looking at heartburn with an energy crash. (And you’ll be scouring the pantry for your next sugar snack within the hour.)

Substitute the flour-based dough with almond flour and cheese, and this recipe becomes nourishment. The ingredients provide vitamins, minerals, protein, and quality, whole-food energy.

Enjoy these spinach artichoke dip bites knowing they support your well-being.

      Spinach Artichoke Dip Bites Tips

Quick and Easy Spinach Artichoke Dip Bites! Party Food in Cups Ideas.

      1. Make large bites

If you don’t have a mini muffin tin feel free to use a full-sized muffin pan instead. Just cut the dough into larger circles, and adjust the baking time as needed. Larger bites will take longer to cook!

      2. Add more veggies

For even more nutrients, fold sautéed mushrooms, bell peppers, or onions into the dip.

      3. Store leftovers

Once cooled, leftovers can be transferred to an airtight container and stored in the refrigerator for up to three days. Or, for a longer-lasting option, feel free to freeze them for up to three months! When you’re ready to eat, thaw the bites in the fridge overnight. Then, warm them in the microwave, and enjoy.

        • 1 ½ cup freshly shredded mozzarella 2 cup
        • 1 cup almond flour
        • 2 Tbsp cream cheese 3 T
        • 1 egg
        • 1 1/2 cups fresh diced spinach
        • 6.5 oz Small jar of artichoke hearts
        • ½ cup freshly grated parmesan or romano
        • 8 oz cream cheese
        • 1 tsp garlic salt
        • *OPTIONAL: for an extra crunch you can add 2-3 Tbsp chopped water chestnut

        • Preheat the oven to 375F
        • Grease a 24-hole mini muffin pan with butter.
        • Make the dough by placing the mozzarella and cream cheese in a bowl and microwave for 1 minute, stir and then cook for another 30 seconds. Stir in the beaten egg and almond flour. This should make a dough.
        • Let the dough cool slightly and set, then knead it. If it’s too sticky, sprinkle a bit more almond flour while kneading on top of parchment paper. Add a little extra almond flour if the dough is too sticky, then knead again.
        • Roll it out sandwiched between parchment paper.
        • Use a small jar lid to cut out 24 circles.
        • Place those into the cavities of the muffin pan to make a crust.
        • For the filling, combine the cream cheese spinach, artichoke’s cheese and garlic salt in a cooking pan and heat on low for 5 minutes until everything is melted and combined then divide within the cups.
        • Bake for 10 minutes or until the dough is brown at the corners. Then broil on high for 1-2 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes then transfer them to a serving platter and enjoy while warm.
