Are Low Carb Dinner Rolls Healthy?
Let’s look at the main ingredients:
- Psyllium Husk
- Eggs
- Coconut Flour
- Butter
Psyllium Husk promotes healthy and regular digestion. Eggs and Coconut Flour (which is pure coconut, btw) each have their own long list of health benefits.
But what about the butter? Is dairy healthy?
Here’s what we know. Dairy is full of vitamins, minerals, protein, and natural fat energy. But if everyone consumed dairy all of the time, dairy farming would become abusive and unsustainable…
Let’s be mindful of our dairy intake. Buy dairy that comes from pasture raised cows and limit consumption.
Sugar is what makes food unhealthy. Classic dinner rolls are made from white flour (refined grains) which means the whole roll is practically a ball of sugar.
Substitute white flour for Coconut Flour and Psyllium Husk, and these dinner rolls become nourishment. The ingredients offer vitamins, minerals, fiber, protein and long-lasting energy.

Low Carb Dinner Roll Tips
1. Glaze with melted butter
This recipe calls for 4 tbsp of butter. Save a tiny slice and melt it in a bowl. When the bread rolls come out of the oven, use a silicone brush to spread a butter glaze over your dinner rolls.
2. Serve with soup
Dip your bread in soup. Let it soak in the flavor. A warm bread roll served with hot soup is the definition of comfort food.
3. Storage and Reheating
These Dinner Rolls keep well in the fridge for up to 10 days. Reheat them in the microwave for 30 seconds.
4. The Perfect Holiday Side Dish
Bread rolls are a holiday dinner staple. Do you need to prepare a dish quickly? These bread rolls will not disappoint.
