      1. Add more protein

      Transform this dip into a complete meal by stirring in cooked shredded chicken, ground beef, or ground turkey. 

      2. Make it spicy

      Add a splash of hot sauce, or stir in a teaspoon or so of red pepper flakes to add a touch of heat. 

      3. Store leftovers

      Once cooled, you can transfer leftover spinach and artichoke dip to an airtight container. It will stay fresh in the fridge for up to 3-5 days. When you’re ready to eat, reheat the dip in the microwave. Or, reheat it in the slow cooker set to the “warm” setting.

        Slow Cooker Spinach Artichoke Dip

        Cook Time:2 hours 30 minutes

        Ingredients

        • 2 ½ cups fresh chopped spinach
        • 1 jar 13 ounces canned quartered artichoke hearts, drained
        • 1 8 ounce cream cheese, cut into cubes
        • 1 cup of plain full fat Greek yogurt
        • 1 cup freshly grated Mozzarella cheese
        • ½ cup grated Asiago cheese
        • 2 Tbsp diced red onion
        • 1 tsp minced garlic
        • 3 Tbsp chopped water chestnuts
        • ¼ tsp black pepper
        • ¼ tsp salt may increase up to ½ teaspoon per preference
        • Extra ¼ cup grated mozzarella cheese for top
        • Top with everything bagel seasoning optional

        Instructions

        • Add all ingredients to your slow cooker (minus extra cheese and everything bagel seasoning).
        • Cook on low for 2 hours or until the cheese is completely melted.
        • Stir and season more as needed. This is more salt can be added per your preference.
        • Add the extra cheese on top and let cook on high for 20-30 more minutes. Then sprinkle the Everything Bagel seasoning on top if you would like.
        • Serve and enjoy.
